I am a contemporary classical bassoonist and college professor who tuned in to the triathlon scene in 2015 after completing graduate school and moving to an active community in Iowa. My primary distances are 70.3 and Olympic triathlons, and both as an athlete musician I am dedicated to expanding accessibility to populations of less mainstream advertising, primarily women and people of color. I assist in leading a local running group and volunteer with the Girls on the Run chapter of Northern Colorado.
