I was born and raised in Kailua Kona, HI. I grew up watching the Ironman World Championships every year and dreamed of one day running down Alii Drive to the iconic finish hearing the phrase "YOU ARE AN IRONMAN". I swam competitively beginning at the age of 5, in high school I transitioned to water polo, triathlon, and cross country. I continued to play water polo at a NCAA D1 program. Now, after graduating from college I am back focused on that dream of one day competing at the Ironman World Championships. Although throughout the years the sport that has been my primary source of focus has changed, my busy schedule and need for quick, nutritious, food has remained a constant.
