Jessie Chappa

My name is Jessie Chappa and I am a post collegiate athlete in Denver, Colorado. I spent the last 5 years running both Cross Country and Track and Field in college. I have been working in Run Specialty for over 3 years and have also just obtained my Bachelors degree in Sport Industry Operations along with a Minor in Sports Media. I would love to work with a brand to grow my knowledge, expertise, and social media following to utilize my education in life. I have also taken on many rolls at my current run specialty job. I do a ton of marketing, social media, and community outreach. On Tuesday evenings I host a community run from the store and it's always a great opportunity to educate new and advanced runners on nutrition, gear, and shoes. As someone who has struggled heavily with stomach issues I can't preach enough how amazing picky bars are for a pick me up before, during, or after a run. My favorite flavor is the "chi and catch me!" Additionally I am obsessed with the PBJ Granola. This granola flavor brings me back to the beginning of my running career when I used to fuel myself with PBJ sandwiches! I am a very energetic, outgoing, and motivated individual who has always been appealed to the idea of representing a brand, especially one I care so much about! I have also had the pleasure to work with Ashley Mena (Picky Bar Rep Ambassador) several times at various community events. Some of my social media may not be up to date due to a long term injury I am still working through as well as working on my company's social media following. I am absolutely looking to increase my own and this is the ultimate opportunity.
