I am an attorney and U.S. Army Reservist practicing law in San Francisco, CA while juggling my love of masochistic, compulsive exercising (I like my pain in the form of marathoning and ultrarunning). I'm also a retired triathlete (swimming=ouch), having completed two full Ironman races (IM Lake Tahoe 2013 and IM Copenhagen 2017), as well as lots of other 70.3s' (Wildflower 2013!) Olympics, etc. I have since ditched swimming and cycling to focus on running. I've completed 10+ marathons, a few 50k races, a 50-miler and a 100k.

2020 was poised to be my running year! I qualified for the Boston Marathon (2:58:50!!) on March 1, 2020, just before the world went into COVID-meltdown. I had Run Rabbit Run 100 on the calendar before it was cancelled, and I was thankfully able to pivot to the Javelina Jundred start list, which takes place on Oct. 29.

I am also a dedicated Army Reserve soldier. I am an attorney for the Army (i.e. A Few Good Men, "You can't handle the truth!"). This service allows me to give back and serve many fearless men and women who risk their lives to protect our freedoms. It is a truly meaningful part of my life, and I derive great satisfaction from dedicating this time to a cause greater than myself.
