I'm a runner, an actor, an animal activist. I love racing against myself and doing my best to inspire those around me to do so as well, whatever that looks like. I am always inspired the first time someone laces up to try their first run in a long time. Marathon has been my distance of choice almost from go and my favorite will always be Chicago, my former hometown. I've been exploring longer distances and trail running much more, taking advantage of the gorgeous Colorado high country at my doorstep. Leadville and Colfax are my favorites, locally and I love not just the races but the atmosphere around them. When not running, I love getting up for hikes with my wife and our Westie, Maggie Mayhem.
