I'm what everyone dislikes in the PNW, a California transplant, BUT I do feel like I belong in the PNW. Long story short, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area near Oakland, went to college in Eugene at the University of Oregon and just absolutely fell in love with everything Oregon has to offer. After getting knee surgery in December 2013, living in Oregon is something that really heightened my desire to return to the active running and climbing community. Some many years later, I now reside in North Portland, a 23 minutes run from the base of Forest Park and am still in love with the seasons and adventures Oregon has to offer.
