British by birth, living in the US since 2012. Sporty since I could walk as a way to burn off the nervous energy. Over the years I've played cricket, softball, rowed competitively for my university, got into distance running and now am a triathlete who was meant to be completing her first full Ironman before 2020 happened. I am the vice-president of my local tri club, and enjoy working to engage our members in making the sport more inclusive and welcoming and, well, less white. As a woman in her late 40s I've also become more than a little obsessed with nutrition as my body changes, and I try and learn how to fuel effectively for long course triathlons. I really enjoy talking about, and eating, food. Plus talking about, and doing, triathlon.
