Originally from the UK, spent many years in Alaska, now in Iowa. Scientist (cancer epidemiologist) by day, but adventure lover and fun seeker on the off time. Triathlete, trail runner, hiker, dog lover, athena, body diversity and food freedom enthusiast. Moving to Iowa, have fallen in love with gravel riding, woot! I love to anything that involves being outside, and getting others outside! No matter who they are, what they look like, how fast or slow they are, every body belongs in the outdoors. Also love to eat, and fueling with real food is my jam. Having some major surgery in 2023, and looking forward to fueling with Picky to get me back on track for my first race of the year, 70.3 Des Moines!
