Hello! My name is Christine. I am an aspiring ornithologist with a love for sport and the outdoors. I am frequently moving between temporary field work, which brings me to all sorts of new places. Currently, I am in Alaska interning with the Forest Service. I’ve been a runner for 15 years now. Running holds a place in my life of peace and allows me to exercise my connection to the outdoors and passion for conservation. After college, during which I was a club runner at the University of Michigan, I shifted into some marathon running. In 2019, I completed two marathons, the Marathon of Puerto Vallarta and the Mexico City Marathon. Coming back from a racing hiatus after the pandemic and reconnecting with running after some difficult events, I feel ready to take on new challenges. This past month I completed the Klondike Road Relay with my team and I’m excited to work towards new goals this coming year.
