Like a shark, I'm always moving...until I stop. And then it's hard to peel me off the couch (I blame my pit bulls, Gloria and Rosie, for being so cuddly).
I'm the co-founder and co-organizer of the downtown Durham, NC running & drinking club, Bull City Beer Runners (est. 2012, 1800+ members strong). I'm a run guide to my visually-impaired husband, Richie.
I split my time between Durham and Sylva, the small western NC mountain town where I run up hills and complain most of the time.
Can also be found: hiking, SUPing or kayaking in Falls Lake, lifting weights (Peloton cheapskate here), scooting around my neighborhood, and walking in search of treasures at "the curb store."
For work, I run special projects at a patient-owned cooperative that connects patients and drug developers so that the healthcare industry can make less crap.
I don't know much music after 2006 or so, I buy things (clothing, accessories, home goods) because I think they're funny, and I always have a Picky Bar in my bag.
