Christine Sprehe, MS, RDN, LDN specializes in sports nutrition with a focus on fueling for running. Her passion for human anatomy and physiology sparked her interest in how food fuels the body. She completed her dietetic internship and received her undergraduate degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the State University of New York Buffalo College and master’s degree in Nutrition from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY at Buffalo). She also completed her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science at SUNY at Buffalo. While at SUNY at Buffalo she competed in NCAA Division I Cross-Country and Track and Field. Christine had her "A-ha!" moment when she realized you need to fuel properly to achieve your best athletic performances. She loves promoting wellness and sharing her knowledge of sports nutrition. She has a particular interest in helping those following a gluten-free diet due to her own experiences with Celiac disease and running on a higher level. Professionally, she is a member of Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a preceptor for dietetic students. Personally, Christine loves dogs and has a rescue dog named Tiki. She enjoys running, biking, and anything adventurous in the great outdoors.
