I am a disabled veteran who has always been very active. After the last few years and many surgeries that impacted my mobility, I need to regain my fitness. I have gone back to my "zen" activity of figure skating and I have learned how to do several jumps again using my "new" knees and center of balance. I have also gotten back on my bike and have been able to do a few organized, supported distance rides. I have a trainer with zwift now set up in my house for the Winter and look forward to regaining some muscle and endurance. I have always been a trailrunner and have been cleared by the doctor to try run/walk again. I will never be a runner on pavement again.
