I began my running career the Fall of 1973, sophomore year of high school. I'm now approaching my 50th year of running. I go slower and less far but to quote Frank Shorter, I'm "trying to slow down as slowly as possible."
I race less but now give back more to our sport by helping organize volunteers for races and being an certified official for track and field and triathlons.
I'm the proud dad of two adult kids who are amazing in themselves and a boastful grandparent of two "superadvanced" grandkids.
