What a fun race with a freezing cold start.
Not used to the cold mornings here in San Diego, CA. Warm up was good for the legs, but was still freezing cold at the start. Ran a smart race, kept pace at 6:22 with a few runners on my tail. Last turn I went to sharp and had to slow down and 11th place finisher passed me. Didn't have enough left to sprint to catch up. Overall a great race and preview of what I can look forward to the championship race on Nov. 20th.
